[origin: EP1491464A1] The device has a U-shaped primary lifting yoke (16) that is hinged in a refuse collection vehicle (1). The yoke lifts a refuse container above discharge troughs (10-13) provided in the vehicle and tips it over. A secondary lifting yoke (23) engages lifting fittings that are provided in a refuse cassette arranged in the container, and lifts and tips the refuse cassette over the discharge troughs.
