Abstract (en)
A textile fibre has a core formed of ultra-strong synthetic, or organic, endless fibres. The core is surrounded by a sheath that is a plaited polytetrafluroethylene (PTFE) narrow foil plaited in the S-direction and Z-direction, or vice versa. One full side of the foil is in contact with the core. The 1-2 mm wide foil 220-880 dtex strips are applied to the core at a rate of 200-400 rpm. The core has a tear resistance rating of 3 cN/dtex.

Der Gegenstand der Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen textilen Faden mit einer Seele und einer die Seele umgebenden Umhüllung, wobei die von hochfesten synthetischen, organischen, endlosen Fasern gebildete Seele von Folienbändchen aus Polytetrafluorethylen (PTFE) in S-Richtung und Z-Richtung oder umgekehrt fest umwunden ist, wobei die Folienbändchen mit einer Seite vollflächig an der Seele bzw. aufeinander zur Anlage gebracht sind und eine Umhüllung bilden. <IMAGE>
