Abstract (en)

Gripper-opening device comprises a shaped-profile slider (3) engaged with an operating lever and movable at least in a direction parallel to the motion of the gripper by driving motor (8), and connection between the motor and the slider is in form of exact straight-line guide mechanism (7) having control pin (9) pivoting at a head (4) rigidly linked to the slider.

The invention relates to a gripper-opening device for grippers of a weaving loom, comprising a shaped-profile slider (3), capable of engaging with an operating lever of a weaving gripper and movable at least in a direction parallel to the motion of the gripper by means of a driving motor (8), between said motor (8) and the slider (3) there being provided connection means (4, 5, 6, 7, 9) in the form of an exact straight-line guide mechanism (7) whose control pin (9) is pivoted to a base (4) rigidly linked to the slider (3). <IMAGE>
