[origin: EP1491694A1] The sump has a vessel (2) with an inner chamber having an access opening and a drain hole. The vessel comprises flat top and bottom walls parallel to each other. A tank is inserted inside the chamber to divide it into two compartments. The tank is inserted inside the vessel to define an annular channel between the tank and vessel. The compartments communicate through an outflow opening associated with a non-return valve.
