Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1491757A1] The device (1) has a fuel injection valve (10) connected to a high-pressure line and a control valve (30) with a valve body (31) with a piston longitudinally movable in a bore. In a first valve position the piston separates a valve chamber from a return or leakage oil system. In a second valve positron the valve pressure chamber is relieved of pressure to the return pressure and actuation of the fuel injection valve is initiated. The piston has at least two individual, longitudinally movable control pistons (71,72), each with a control edge (73,74) for both valve settings.
