[origin: WO03082222A2] The invention relates to a method for producing low-viscosity, in particular atomizable, oil-in-water type emulsions containing phospholipids. Said emulsions comprise an aqueous phase and an oily phase, which are essentially composed of poorly volatile constituents and contain at least one phospholipid, at least one oil-in-water emulsifier and optionally at least one W/O emulsifier. The emulsions are obtained as follows: one part of the aqueous phase with its constituents is added to the oily phase with its constituents, in particular the phospholipid, the O/W emulsifier and optionally the W/O emulsifier, whereby the phases are mixed together to obtain a gel state, which is converted into a low-viscosity O/W emulsion by a further addition of the aqueous phase and if required, said phases can contain additional adjuvants, additives and/or active ingredients.
