[origin: WO03084751A1] The invention relates to a printing unit comprising at least two pairs each consisting of two cylinders (16, 17), namely of a transfer cylinder (17) and of an associated form cylinder (16) having a circumference that corresponds to at least two printed pages situated one behind the other in the circumferential direction. In a printing on-position, the transfer cylinders interact with a shared printing cylinder while forming a print position. The cylinders of two diametrically opposite pairs are each arranged so that, in the printing on-position, their rotation axes (R16, R17) are located together with the rotation axis (R18) of the printing cylinder in a common plane (G).
