Abstract (en)
[origin: WO03084870A2] The invention concerns a partly crystalline mesostructured material, which essentially consists on a compound selected among cerium oxide, zirconium oxide, titanium oxide or a mixture of said compounds, characterized in that it comprises at least an element M in mixed crystal in said oxide. Said material is obtained by a method which consists in: (a) contacting a starting partly crystalline mesostructured material with a solution of the element M which has a concentration of said element of not more than 2 mole/l; then (b) calcining the material obtained after contacting with said solution at a temperature not exceeding 500 DEG C, steps (a) and (b) being repeated, if required, until a material having the desired content of element M is obtained. The material can be used as catalyst.
