[origin: WO03085352A1] The invention concerns a mobile device for ballistic protection of battle and security vehicle roofs. It comprises a structure (7) for receiving protective means, said structure being mounted rotatably articulated on a support (3) integral with the roof to take up an active protective position and a passive protective position wherein it is spaced apart. The receiving structure (7) is articulated relative to the roof via a support bracket (3) fixed on said roof. The height of the support bracket (3) is selected so as to avoid any interference with the operational devices fixed on the vehicle roof (20)
