[origin: US2004200081A1] A measurement sample used for custom making and a custom-making method are provided in order to provide clothes of custom size and with a proper fit when worn by a wearer. A bottom measurement sample includes a waist measurement portion capable of adjusting and measuring a waist size in a waist part, and hip cup measurement portions capable of adjusting and measuring a hip cup size in a hip part. A plurality of bottom measurement samples of varying hip sizes are prepared to select one which fits a customer's hip size for the customer to try on. The waist measurement portion and the hip cup measurement portions are used to adjust the waist size and the hip cup sizes to those of the customer, to allow the customer to try on the bottom measurement sample of custom size, and at the same time, the custom size is measured.
