Abstract (en)
The superstructure has a former for feeding several adjacent partial webs of material into the folding machine. A longitudinal separating device for separating a basic web (02) of material into several partial webs is mounted in the former. A perforating device (09) for producing longitudinal perforations in the basic material web is set in front of the former so that the separating device separates the webs along the perforation.

Vorgeschlagen wird ein Verfahren zum Zuführen einer Mehrzahl von nebeneinander liegenden Teilmaterialbahnen in einen Falzapparat, wobei die Teilmaterialbahnen durch Trennen entlang einer Perforation gebildet werden und die Perforation in einem Abstand vom Eingang des Falzapparates erzeugt wird, wobei die Perforation in einer Mehrzahl von Ausgangsmaterialbahnen erzeugt wird, und die perforierten Ausgangsmaterialbahnen nach der Perforation zu einem Stapel übereinandergelegt werden und der Stapel entlang der Perforation aufgetrennt wird.
