The floor strip comprises a base profile (2) with two spaced vertical arms and a cover profile (4) engaging thereon. The vertical arms (7, 8) of the base profile and those (14, 15) of an intermediate adapter (3) have the same external dimensions and their intermediate spacing (27) corresponds to the width (28) of the arm (16) directed down from the adapter. The cover profile in its lowest position on the adapter engages with arms (26) both the vertical arms of the adapter and those of the part underneath.

Fußbodenleiste zur Überbrückung von Fugen zwischen zwei aneinander stoßende Bodenbeläge, wobei die Fußbodenleise von einem Basisprofil und einem aufgesetzten Abdeckprofil gebildet wird, zwischen denen ein Adapterteil als Verbindungsstück gesetzt ist. Die Schenkel des Abdeckprofils ergreifen je nach Höhe der Bodenbeläge die aufrechten Schenkel des Basisprofils oder die Seitenwände der Schenkel des Adapterteils. Es ist eine stufenlose Höheneinstellung des Abdeckprofils zum Basisprofil möglich, wobei die Höhe durch mehrere übereinander gesetzte Adapterteile überwunden werden kann. <IMAGE>
