[origin: EP1494182A2] Gaming automate system comprises at least a terminal (1) and at least a gaming automate (2) that communicate via a network (4). At least a mobile communications unit (3), especially a transponder, exchanges data with a gaming automate and or a terminal for the purpose of banning or authenticating a controlling person who is exchanging data using the said communications unit. The invention also relates to a corresponding method for activating an inventive gaming automate.
