Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1494252A1] A contact piece (4) juts out from a flexible contact piece support (FCPS) (5) in an outward direction (z) and links to the FCPS on a contact end (52). A leaf spring (LS) (3) stretches in a lengthwise direction (x) and has a fastening end, on which it links to the FCPS fastening end (31) when fitted. The LS can create a force to oppose the FCPS outward direction. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) A heavy-duty switch with numerous contact finger modules acting as part of a detachable electric contact; (b) and for an isolating link module for a heavy-duty switch.
