[origin: WO03056956A2] Disclosed are a device (1, 8, 13, 22) for keeping together, sizing, adjusting, or closing parts of a piece of clothing, underwear, such as a bra, garter belt, or any other accessory, and pieces of clothing, underwear, particularly bras and accessories provided with the inventive device. Said device comprises a first part (2, 14, 23) provided with at least one first magnetic element (4, 11, 17, 25, 30, 52) and a second part (5, 19, 27) provided with at least one second magnetic element (6, 12, 18, 25, 30) by means of which the piece of clothing, underwear, or accessory can be fixed, sized, adjusted, or closed when one of said first or second parts is actuated by a user such that said first or second part interacts with the other part. Each magnetic element is made of at least two groups, each of which comprises at least one positive magnet (4', 6'; 11', 12 ; 17', 17' ; 18 ; 25'; 30 ) and one negative magnet (4 , 6 ; 11', 12 ; 17 , 18', 18 , 18 '; 25 , 30'). The groups that are part of the same element are directly or indirectly fixed to one and the same base and/or to each other and interact with the groups from the other magnetic element, which have opposite signs.
