[origin: WO03087610A1] The invention relates to a freewheel with two machine pieces (1, 2) arranged within each other and free to rotate about an axis, of which the one machine piece (1, 2) is provided with a smooth cylindrical locating track (2.1, 1.4) and the other machine piece (1, 2) is provided with locating ramps (1.1, 2.2) arranged serially in the circumferential direction on the circumferential surface thereof facing the smooth cylindrical locating track (2.1, 1.4). The metallic cage is characterized in being provided with profiled ridges (3.1). The positive-fit connection for location relative to said other machine piece (1, 2) is achieved by means of a middle ridge section (3.1.1) which is positioned parallel to the axis of the freewheel and is connected by means of two inclined ridge sections (3.1.2) to two ridge sections (3.1.3) running parallel to the axis.
