[origin: EP1496003A1] An automated parallel bobbin (S) winding assembly has a thread moving feed guide (5) and a bobbin turntable magazine that step-advances empty bobbins to the winding station. Empty bobbins bear a residual length of yarn that is attached by knotting to the next yarn feed presented by the feed guide.
