Abstract (en)

The motor vehicle headlamp has a light device (2) with a light source (3), a reflector (4) enclosing the source and a lens arrangement (5) towards which the reflector focuses the light from the source and a housing (6) with a transparent panel (7). A light deflector (8) or a mounting point (9) for the deflector is provided to pass stray light from the source to an optical part (10,10') at essentially any position in the housing.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kraftfahrzeugscheinwerfer (1), insbesondere ein Frontscheinwerfer, mit einer Leuchteinrichtung (2), welche eine Lichtquelle (3), einen die Lichtquelle (3) umgebenden Reflektor (4) und eine Linsenanordnung (5) aufweist, wobei der Reflektor (4) das von der Lichtquelle (3) emittierte Licht im wesentlichen in Richtung der Linsenanordnung (5) bündelt, mit einem Gehäuse (6), welches die Leuchteinrichtung (2) aufnimmt und an welchem eine transparente Scheinwerferabdeckung (7) angeordnet ist. Erfindungswesentlich ist dabei, dass eine Lichtumlenkvorrichtung (8) oder eine vorbereitete Montagestelle (9) für die Lichtumlenkvorrichtung (8) vorgesehen ist, welche von der Lichtquelle (3) emittiertes Streulicht (13, 13') an ein an einer im Wesentlichen beliebigen Stelle im Gehäuse (6) angeordnetes oder anbringbares Optikteil (10, 10') weiterleitet. <IMAGE>
