[origin: WO03089198A1] The invention relates to a shearing head for hair clippers, comprising at least one upper blade (9) and at least one lower blade (1), which has cutting edges and is assigned to said upper blade. Said blades can be moved relative to one another by a drive. The upper blade (9) has a bearing surface (14) consisting of connecting elements (17) and slots (21), and the slots (21) are open at least toward one of both lateral delimiting lines (15, 16) of the bearing surface (14), which define the width of said bearing surface (14). The connecting elements (14) are provided with a meandering shape, in the shape of sine curves or of wavy lines running back and forth between both opposite lateral delimiting lines (15, 16) of the bearing surface (14).
