Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1357035A1] Process for rinsing a container with protective gas comprises introducing and removing the protective gas parallel to the surface of the filling opening of the container. The filling opening is connected in a leak proof manner to a channel used for introducing/removing the protective gas. An Independent claim is also included for a device used for carrying out the above process. Preferred Features: The incoming protective gas has a higher pressure and/or the outgoing gas has a lower pressure than the environment of the device.
