Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1498534A2] In a continually operated textile dying process the fabric is slogged, then greened in an oxidation bath, then washed and dried. Immediately prior to each slogging phase oxygen is expelled from the textile (4). The textile is maintained in an atmosphere devoid of oxygen until the greening phase. Admission of oxygen is prevented by immersion in washing water and subsequent expulsion of water by squeezing under a nitrogen atmosphere. Also claimed is a commensurate assembly.
