[origin: WO03090972A1] The invention relates to a hard-rolling roller head (1) pertaining to a hard-rolling tool for hard-rolling radii or recesses (22) on the main and lifting bearing journals of crankshafts (21). Said roller head comprises a housing (2) in which one or two hard-rolling rollers (4) are rotatably guided in a removable manner in a roller cage (5), at a lateral distance from each other with little play. Said roller cage (5) is fixed on the lower side (3) of the housing (2) which faces the crankshaft (21), by means of pins (15) which respectively support the roller cage (5) on its front sides (10) opposing the hard-rolling rollers (4), and simultaneously laterally guide the same. The housing (2) is respectively provided with a projection (11, 12) on both ends of its lower side (3) facing the crankshaft (21), for supporting the roller cage (5). Pins (15) are provided as fixing and guiding elements for the roller cage (5) and engage in the same (5).
