Abstract (en)

[origin: WO03093552A1] The invention concerns a method for making a sunlight reflecting material consisting of a planar structure comprising laminates made of a reflecting material laterally juxtaposed in the longitudinal direction and maintained together by a network of threads, said method comprising knitting of a network of threads on a knitting machine and inserting laminates made of reflecting material in each row being knitted. The reflecting material laminates (2) are provided flat in the knitting machine input, in the form of a web of laminates derived from an assembly of bobbins and at substantially constant speed and tension. The invention is useful for windows and glazed surfaces of living rooms, in particular verandahs.
