Fire-extinguishing device (1) comprises a water container (4), a foam compound container (5), and at least one compressed gas connection (9). The water container and the foam compound container are connected to an outlet line (13) and the compressed gas connection. The pressure in a compressed gas line (10) leading to the water container is lower than the pressure in a compressed gas line (14) leading to the foam compound container. Independent claims are also included for: (1) Production of foam, especially fire foam; and (2) Use of a pressure-reducing device (17) in a fire-extinguishing device.
Abstract (de)
Es wird eine Feuerlöscheinrichtung (1) sowie ein Verfahren zur Erzeugung von Feuerlöschschaum beschrieben, welche sich dadurch auszeichnen, dass ein Wasserbehälter (4) und ein Schaummittelbehälter (5) getrennt voneinander mit Druck beaufschlagt werden. Dabei ist der Druck im Wasserbehälter (4) niedriger als der Druck im Schaummittelbehälter (5). Aufgrund dieses Druckunterschiedes wird eine aktive Zumischung des Schaummittels mit dem Wasser erzielt und eine verbesserte Bereitstellung von Löschschaum ermöglicht. <IMAGE>
