Abstract (en)

A cleaning system for a rolling staircase, e.g. escalator, has scrapers (30) attached via pendant mountings to the outer links of a drive chain to clean the guide rails and the drive wheel during normal operation. No special cover is required for the drive mechanism and the scrapers maintain smooth operation of the system. The pivot movement of the scrapers is limited by pin and slot couplings (35) and the scrapers have a scraping edge (34) set at an angle to the travel.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Fahrtreppe oder einen Fahrsteig, mit einem Stufen- oder Palettenband, dass von Antriebsketten antreibbar ist, die über mindestens ein Antriebsrad geführt sind. Mindestens ein Kettenglied (16)ist mit einem Räumer (30) für die Entfernung von auf einer Führungsschiene der Antriebskette vorliegenden Verunreinigungen verbunden. <IMAGE>
