The console (4) comprises a rigid profiled rail (7) containing openings (30-32) in the form of slots and/or bores for fasteners used to secure it to a strong part of the wall, i.e. not to insulation material. The console also includes a height adjustment device (9) for supporting and altering the height of the frame (5).

Eine Konsole zum Abstützen und Befestigen von Fenster- oder Türrahmen an der Begrenzung (6) einer Wandöffnung in einer Wand (1), welche gegebenenfalls teilweise aus nachgiebigem, nicht tragfähigem Material, z.B. aus Dämmstoffschichten (3), gebildet ist, wird vorab an der Begrenzung (6) der Wandöffnung montiert oder ist dort montierbar. Diese Konsole (4) ist als biegesteife Profilschiene (7) ausgeführt, welche einerseits Löcher (30,31,32) zum Durchtritt von Befestigungselementen (8,10) zum Einsatz in Wandabschnitte aus tragfähigem Material aufweist und andererseits sind Mittel zum Eingriff oder zum Abstützen eines Verstellelementes (9) für die einstellbare Abstützung eines Fenster- oder Türrahmens (5) ausgebildet. Ferner sind die Löcher (30,31,32) zum Durchtritt der Befestigungselemente (8,10) als Langlöcher und/oder als Bohrungen ausgebildet. <IMAGE>
