[origin: EP1500795A2] The device has a stator with inward pointing vanes (8) and a rotor seated on the camshaft to rotate with it with outward pointing vanes (2) protruding between the adjacent stator vanes. At least one of the rotor vanes and/or at least one the stator vanes has at least one raised part (19) on at least one side wall (14-17) that can be flexibly deformed in the stop position of the vane.
