Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1500868A2] The light-emitting diode module (1) has a carrier (10) for the light-emitting diodes (21,22,23), which is provided with at least one light deflector (311-332), for deflecting the light provided by the light-emitting diodes in a given direction. The light-emitting diodes can be mounted on a mantle surface (11) of the carrier which is asymmetric to its longitudinal axis (A-A), together with a number of longitudinally spaced light deflectors. An independent claim for an automobile head lamp is also included.
