[origin: WO03091637A1] A heat exchanger for a refrigerating appliance comprises a plate (1), a conduit tubing (2), which is placed in thermoconductive contact with the plate (1) and provided for transporting a coolant, and comprises a holding material layer (3) that adheres to the plate (1) and to the conduit tubing (2). The holding material layer (3) is made of a bitumen composition. The heat exchanger can be produced by stacking the plate (1), the conduit tubing (2) and a sheet made of the bitumen composition, whereby the holding material layer (3) is formed form the sheet by heating and pressing the stack.
