[origin: EP1502890A2] The winding machine for the continuous winding of threads (8) into spools (6) has several winding spindles (3,5) to hold sleeves (4), with the winding spindles rotatably mounted on a movable spindle carrier (2). A loading device is provided for the making available and fitting of the sleeves onto the spindles. A means of guiding is provided for the fitting of the sleeves and constructed to be guided at least for a short period synchronously with the winding spindles which are moved by the spindle carrier.
