[origin: EP1503002A2] Water-guiding sanitary device for washing the body comprises a shower joined to a water-guiding pipe (2) that is connected via at least one pipe switch (19), one valve or one mixing valve to at least one water supply line (3, 4). The showerhead (1) or a pipeline part (5) supporting the showerhead is arranged on a height-adjustable plunger (6) held on parts fixed to a frame. The plunger is adjusted in height by an adjusting drive (7). The water-guiding pipe leading and connected to the showerhead or the pipeline part is flexible and can be adjusted in length. Preferred Features: The plunger forms the piston rod of a piston/cylinder unit.
