A design for a sliding insulated window has a fixed frame (2) with grooves in the upper and lower sections to hold the frameless top and bottom edges of an insulated panel. The bottom edge of the panel is supported in the bottom groove on sliding supports which are clamped between the two glass sheets forming the panel. The top edge is loosely held in the upper groove. The upright edges of the sliding panel are fitted with frames (5, 6, 7) with grips for manual control. Bristles along the groove edges provide a friction grip and assist the thermal sealing of the sliding panel.

Eine Schiebekonstruktion (1) für Fenster oder Türen, umfasst einen gebäudeseitig festlegbaren Blendrahmen (2), in dem mindestens ein verschiebbares Füllungselement (3) aufgenommen ist, wobei das Füllungselement (3) mit einer oberen und/oder unteren Haltevorrichtung (30) verschiebbar in dem Blendrahmen (2) geführt ist. Ferner weist das Füllungselement (3) zumindest an einer Seite kein umgebendes Rahmenprofil auf, wobei das Füllungselement (3) an dieser Seite in einer Nut (23, 24) des Blendrahmens (2) aufgenommen ist. Dadurch wird die Herstellung des Füllungselementes (3) vereinfacht, da nicht vier einzelne Profile für einen Rahmen zusammengesetzt werden müssen, die dann das Füllungselement umgeben. <IMAGE>
