[origin: EP1503323A2] A first character string is displayed in the vicinity of a first bar code in a state that the first character string can be readily recognized as a character string represented by the first bar code, and all or a part of the second character string is displayed in a state that it cannot be readily recognized as all or a part of a character string represented by the second bar code. When an article on which two or more bar codes and two or more character strings corresponding thereto are displayed is viewed, a character string to be manually entered can be correctly recognized.
