Abstract (en)
A pressure plate (26) with an compression surface is used to press together a seal between the pressure plate and an opposite surface i.e. a front wall (12) in a casing (10). One part of the seal can be pressed inwards in a radial direction in respect of a through-hole (28,30) formed inside a cylindrical projection (36) that extends from the front wall into the inside of the casing.

Ein Steckverbinder mit einem Gehäuse (10), einer Durchgangsöffnung (14, 16, 28, 30) für ein Kabel und einer Dichtung (20), welche im Bereich der Durchgangsöffnung abdichten kann, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Andruckplatte (26) vorgesehen ist, mittels der die Dichtung (20) zwischen der Andruckplatte und einer Gegenfläche (12) im Gehäuse zusammengedrückt werden kann, wodurch ein Teil der Dichtung (20) in bezüglich der Durchgangsöffnung (14, 16, 28, 30) radialer Richtung nach innen gedrückt wird. <IMAGE>
