The hinged lid closure also comprises a hinge d lid (34; 114; 208), which is provided with a lid enclosure (48; 112; 216), c an be pivoted between a closed position and an opened position by mean of a hin ge (56), and which is provided with a radial recess (58; 118; 220) of the lid enclosure (48; 112; 216) located on the face of the hinged lid (34; 114; 208 ) while extending over a partial circumference of the hinged lid (34; 114; 208 ). The hinged lid closure also comprises a tamper evident band (60; 104; 204), which extends in the circumferential direction on the annular shoulder (42; 108; 212) of the closure body (32; 214), whose bottom edge is attached to th e annular shoulder (42; 108; 212) via predetermined breaking points (64), and which projects in an arched manner into the recess (58; 118; 220) when the hinged lid (34; 114; 208) is in the original closed position.
