[origin: WO03093655A1] Disclosed is a pressure supply device for electrohydraulic valve control of gas exchange valves in internal combustion engines, comprising a fluid reservoir (12), a fluid outlet (11) for connection of the valve control and a high pressure pump which removes fluid from the fluid reservoir (12) and pumps it at high pressure to the fluid outlet (11). In order to obtain a high degree of efficiency and high system dynamics, the high pressure pump is embodied in the form of a constant pump (14) provided with an inlet and an outlet (141, 142). The pump outlet (142) can be alternately connected by means of a reversing valve to the fluid outlet (11) and to the fluid reservoir (12) when the fluid outlet (11) is closed.
