[origin: EP1504692A2] The drum (1) with a central bore for being joined to a rotating shaft is provided with several radial arranged u-shaped insertion areas (2) for a number of brushing units. A reinforcing patch of cardboard (6) is joined to a unit assembled of a bunch of bristles (4) and a sanding strip (5) and secured with a clip (7). The sanding material (5) can be replaced by a coarser or smoother strip (5), the bristles (4) can vary in length or level of rigidity as required by the surface to be processed.
