Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1504848A1] The pliers have a casing (2) with two wings (3), each having a notched slot (4) receiving an upper jaw (6) and a lower jaw (8). The upper jaw is fixed with respect to the casing, and the lower jaw has an articulation axle (13) whose ends are arranged in the slot, and a jaw locking mechanism. Each end of the articulation axle has a support unit against an external face of each wing.
