[origin: EP1504921A2] The printing cloth for use on printing cylinders, in particular, of offset printing machines comprises a carrier element (4) which is constituted as a laminate consisting of a metal layer (5) bracketed by layers (6, 7) of thermoplastic or elastomer material. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing the proposed printing cloth.
