Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1505238A2] A hinge (8) links two leaves (6, 7) together forming a folding door that is supported by an arm (11). The hinge has two arms (20, 21) linking on the one side with the support arm (11) and on the other with a fixture (15) and joined by a pivot (22). The space between the two leaves (6, 7) has a finger guard. The hinge arms form part of a safety device which releases the hinge if an object should become jammed in the gap.
