Abstract (en)
The mechanism has a tripping device (7) to activate a movable electrical contact (1) to come in contact with a fixed electric contact. A bimetallic strip (3) for thermal stripping is mounted on an upper end shield (5) mounted over a lower end shield (4) of a yoke frame. The lower end shield has an axle (6) on which the device is pivotally mounted. The device has a driving unit (9) to rotate the device under action of the strip. An independent claim is also included for a circuit breaker.

La présente invention concerne un mécanisme de serrure actionnant au moins un contact électrique mobile (1), se déplaçant par rapport à un contact fixe (2) entre deux positions stables correspondant respectivement à une ouverture et à une fermeture d'un circuit électrique, ledit mécanisme comportant un bilame (3) de déclenchement thermique. Selon l'invention, le bilame (3) de déclenchement thermique est fixé sur une carcasse, sur laquelle est monté le contact électrique mobile (1). <IMAGE>
