[origin: WO03097225A1] The invention relates to at least one mixer comprising at least one mixing container having a mixing region and a mixing axis (A-A) which extends inside the mixing region, said mixing region being defined by the inner surface of a container. A mixing shaft is arranged along the mixing axis (A-A), and a plurality of mixing elements are applied to said shaft and are respectively arranged in such a way that the scraping edge (32, 34) is adjacent to the inner surface of the container. A mixing element used as a reversing element (20) is associated with at least one of the front surfaces of the mixing container, and comprises a mixing arm (42) which is applied to the mixing shaft, a radially outer mixing element (44), and a radially inner mixing element (46) bordering the same, said elements being fixed to the mixing arm (42) and together forming the scraping edge (32, 34) of the reversing element (20). According to the inventive mixer, the radially outer mixing element (44) is supported on the radially inner mixing element (46) in a positively locked manner during a displacement relating to the mixing operation, during which the distance between the scraping edge section (48a) extending along the front surface of the mixing container and the front surface of the mixing container tends to increase.
