[origin: WO03047863A2] The invention relates to devices for the alignment of a covering applied to a cylinder in a printing machine, said devices being provided with a stop and a roller element. The device is characterised in that the stop is arranged in the mounting direction of the covering upstream from the roller element, whereby the covering which is to be mounted on the cylinder engages with the stop. Alternatively, the rolling element acts as a stop itself. The invention also relates to methods for aligning or mounting a covering on a cylinder in a printing machine with the aid of a stop or a roller element.
