The air conditioning device has an evaporator (7) through which an air flow (X) is passed and on which condensed water forms that is fed to a removable collection container (21) by a capture device (33). The air conditioning device has a drop protection device (39) that collects drops when the collection container is removed from the air conditioning device. The drop protection device feeds all collected condensed water into the collection device in an operating position.

Es sind Klimageräte mit einem Verdampfer bekannt, durch den eine Luftströmung (X) geführt ist und an dem sich Kondenswasser bildet, und einem Sammelbehälter (21) der herausnehmbar in dem Klimagerät angeordnet ist und das von dem Verdampfer (7) fließende Kondenswasser sammelt. Erfindungsgemäß ist eine Tropfschutzeinrichtung (39) vorgesehen, die das Kondenswasser sammelt, wenn der Sammelbehälter (21) aus dem Klimagerät herausgenommen ist.
