[origin: WO03102290A1] The invention relates to a household appliance, particularly a dishwasher, a washing machine or the like, comprising a liquid circuit and a pump, which has a pump housing. Said pump housing contains a heating element (3), which is provided for heating the liquid and which, via a heat-conducting contact surface (20), is adapted to the outer shape (2) of the housing while having an at least partial form-fit therewith. The aim of the invention is to improve the heating efficiency of the inventive household appliance. To this end, the contact surface (20) is at least half as large as the entire outer surface of the heating element.
