Dargestellt und beschrieben ist ein faltbares Bauelement (1), insbesondere Möbelbauteil, umfassend eine Vielzahl von flächigen Teilelementen (2,2',2''), wobei die Teilelemente (2,2',2'') erste Oberflächen (3) und zweite Oberflächen (4) aufweisen, wobei die Teilelemente (2,2',2'') wenigstens eine Verbindungskante (5) und Außenkanten (6,7) aufweisen, wobei die Teilelemente (2,2',2'') entlang der Verbindungskanten (5) schwenkbar miteinander verbunden sind und wobei wenigstens eine der Oberflächen (3,4) eines Teilelements (2,2',2'') einer Oberfläche (3,4) eines weiteren Teilelements (2,2',2") gegenüberliegt. Das technische Problem, ein faltbares Bauelement (1) bereitzustellen, das sich mit gewöhnlichen Methoden zuverlässig und ohne großen Aufwand handhaben lässt, wird dadurch gelöst, dass Fixiermittel vorgesehen sind und dass die Fixiermittel die Außenkante (6,7) eines der Teilelemente (2,2',2'') mit einem weiteren Teilelement (2,2',2'') verbinden. <IMAGE>
