A jet weaving machine (1) comprises a monitoring apparatus (20) arranged at a receiving side (3) of weft insertion path (4) and includes a sensor device as a weft thread monitor (21) that is fixedly mounted on a weaving sley (9) and an another sensor device as a tube monitor (22). The monitoring apparatus further comprises a capture device (40) fixedly arranged on the weaving sley for holding and/or stretching weft thread, and a suction device (30) arranged on receiving side stationary with respect to machine frame and comprises tube monitor.

Es wird eine Düsenwebmaschine vorgeschlagen, bei welcher ein Schussfaden (S) mittels eines Fluids von einer Schussseite (2) zu einer Fangseite (3) eintragbar ist, mit einer Weblade (9), entlang der sich eine Schusseintragsbahn (4) erstreckt, welche eine Schussrichtung (A) festlegt, sowie mit einer auf der Fangseite (3) angeordneten Überwachungsvorrichtung (20), welche zwei Sensoreinrichtungen (21,22) zum Detektieren des Schussfadens (S) bzw. Teilen des Schussfadens umfasst, wobei genau eine der Sensoreinrichtungen (21) fest auf der Weblade (9) montiert ist. <IMAGE>
