Abstract (en)
In a papermaking process the cellular pulp contains residual non-cellular organic vessels found in natural wood. In a process to remove the non-cellular vessels from the pulp, the mixture of pulp and vessels is dispersed to a consistency of between 15 and 35 % and fractionated in a hydrocyclone at a consistency of less than 3%. Dispersal takes place at a consistency of between 15 and 35 %, and the great majority of non-cellular vessels separate in the hydrocyclone at a consistency of less than 3%. Dispersal tales place in a disc dispersal assembly requiring a specific energy input of more than 70 kWh/t at an operating temperature of less than 70C.
Abstract (de)
<IMAGE>
