Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1508941A2] The conductor has a solder deposit (3) and an end contact. The solder deposit is attached before the conductor is soldered to a complementary contact. The solder deposit is formed from a sleeve of solderable material, which clinches the end contact. The sleeve preferably has a longitudinal slot and crimps the end contact. An independent claim is included for a method of manufacturing an electrical conductor.
