[origin: WO03101236A1] Disclosed is a sole (14) of a running shoe, comprising at least one cleat (16) which is disposed in said sole (14) such that the length thereof can be modified in the axial longitudinal direction thereof. The cap (22) of the cleat is mounted in a rigid, sleeve-shaped guiding part (28) of a guiding member (24) by means of an elastically deformable damping member (60) so as to be displaceable in a longitudinal direction. At least some areas of the free edge of the sleeve-shaped guiding part (28) are configured in a rubbery elastic manner.
